& Arts Management

Cocodage’s work is grounded in leadership experience across law, nonprofit governance, and the creative sector, supporting organizations and initiatives in moving from vision to sustained impact.

Highlights include:

Public Art & Organizational Leadership

Cocodage’s leadership approach is grounded in executive experience guiding complex nonprofit initiatives. As Executive Director of the Chicago Public Art Group, Chantal Healey oversaw a network of more than 40 artists, managed major citywide initiatives, and stewarded projects from early planning through long-term public impact. This work included strategic planning, funding oversight, and collaboration with civic agencies, business leaders, and community partners.

Cultural Preservation & Stewardship

Cocodage’s work is grounded in experience stewarding projects with cultural, civic, and historical significance. This includes Healey’s leadership of the conservation and relocation of a historic labor mural, navigating regulatory requirements, stakeholder interests, and long-term preservation considerations to ensure its successful installation at the Chicago Teachers Union headquarters.

Community-Based Leadership

Cocodage’s perspective is informed by experience building and guiding mission-driven organizations. This work involved organizational development, program leadership, and creating sustainable structures to serve participants over time.

Advocacy & Development

Cocodage draws on experience helping artists and organizations secure the resources and partnerships needed to bring ambitious projects forward. Healey supported multimillion-dollar initiatives by developing funding strategies, engaging civic leaders and institutional partners, and strengthening the relationships that allow projects to move from concept to realization.
